I haven't personally but I have heard they are very uncomfortable. Or I read it somewhere. But to each his own. I'd like to get one because I don't do long rides often. I like the look. I already have a corbin standard seat I really should sale. Just sitting in the basement. I have a mustang that sits higher, that I like.

I have 3 bikes, all with Corbins. Not the gunfighter but I love Corbins. When I travel long distance, I use a sheepskin from Alaska Leather.

Corbins take some time to break in. Mine took about a 1000 miles to do so. In the beginning I could have chucked it immediately.  A friend of mine with the same seat talked me into giving it up to 1000 miles. I did and it turned out to be the best seat I ever owned.

I have the 2-up Corbin seat that I think is pretty much like the
gunfighter. It is well made, and Corbin seems like they'll work with
you after the sale if needed...

Don't know about the Valkyrie... but I had a Corbin on my Montauk.

It WILL be hard at first... give it about 1000 or more miles.  It breaks in SLOWLY.

Once it's broken in, though... Very nice.

Does anyone know if the Corbin seat height is lower or the same as the stock seat?

The Corbin I had was a solo seat on my Road Star. It set me a little lower. Not sure about the Valkyrie?

My Corbins never broke in.  My ass broke in.

My first interstate came with a Corbin Dual Tour and I don't remember it being much different height- wise from stock or my Ultimate lowboy (certainly lower than my big boy).

And I always sit up straighter when sitting on a concrete block.

Not all Corbin seats are the same.

I ride on one 90% of the time and it is comfortable enough for the kind of riding I do ( 100 - 200 mile trips ), for my long rides I usually switch to a Big Boy Ultimate seat.
The Corbin that I have now seats me about 1.5" lower than stock and I like that.

Having said that, I recently sold another Corbin seat that sat me 1" higher than stock and was hard as a rock, maybe cause it seemed to be a newer seat and maybe was not broke in.
I also talked to Corbin customer service as I was thinking of recovering my seat and they explained that they make the seats according to the customers request, they will seat you higher or lower.
I should also mention that I have sat on some of my fellow Floridian Valk Riders and I can say that some are more comfortable than others.

Hope this helps

I purchased a Corbin seat when new,for the large back rest mainly. The seat sits you lower and was pretty uncomfortable.I purchased the ultimate seat and a few others..the best most comfortable seat, and the cheapest..is the mustang...I'll never go back.
