Hey, well part of this is a little late, and following up on a ride Wednesday evening. In Memphis on Beale St. Wednesday nights there is bike night from April thru September. Myself and some of my riding chums go regularly if the weather is good. This past Wed the weather was just about perfect. So 6 of us met in Southaven MS and headed to downtown Memphis. Not too crowded when we arrived so finding parking was easy. It did didn't long for the street to fill up though. By the time we went to Rum Boogies for some good eats (no pic of my BBQ balony sandwich) the street was pretty much packed with bikes lining the curbs and people filling the sidewalks. This is a great place to people watch...there are quite some characters that meander the streets downtown. Memphis draws in a lot of visitors from out of state and country. Have talked to many from England, Germany, Japan, Australia and other locales.
Anyway, typically there are 3 city blocks dedicated for all the bikes. On display are just about any brand of bike there is, from WOW customs to "let me drag this thing out of the shed and see if it will crank" bikes.
It is a fun place, our Valkyries get a lot of attention, and their eyes kinda glaze over when one of us does the nickel trick

This week we had 2 Valks, 2 GW trikes, and 2 2-wheel GW's.
We don't stay real late, there is another tradition priority that must be met....ice cream at the Sonic.

Plus nuttin' good happens after midnight in downtown Memphis.
