Mark, I was just concerned if you you are safe and sound and  had any damage from the storm. Please check in when you can. I'm sure we are all wondering about you two.

Charlyne posted on Facebook 8 hours ago that they're okay, just rain. At least as of then.

They're hardy folk, they'll be fine, but yeah, concerned about my friends as well.

Charlyne just posted again, they made it through the night with just heavy rain. So far so good.

It's relatively easy to gain Texas residency... It's a whole nuther matter to be a 'Texan', however. That requires a special kind of toughness, resiliency, optimism, and 'can-do attitude'... Hardy folk, for sure... if you ever meet one, you'll know it right off. If you've ever met Mark and Charlene, then you know exactly what I'm talking about...

So glad to hear you guys are okay.  You're the first ones we thought of when hearing the news.

Good to hear you're OK.  I figured it would take more than a hurricane to knock down Mark's canopy, however.  Flooding could still be a problem.
