Hi everyone,
I just thought that I would share this pic as it is not an everyday thing that we get someone from over the pond come to visit.
Jorg stopped over in Wisconsin in between work assignments. It seems that one of his appointments was cancelled due to the fact that it was smack dab in the State of Texas.. I guess he felt that it would be a little drier UP NORT.

Here we are during I believe Jorg's first Wisconsin FISH FRY, in an old original Wisconsin Supper Club. The meal is served family style, and all you can eat! It consisted of fried fish, baked fish, fried chicken, french fries, American potato salad, baked beans, cole slaw, and German potato salad (Jorg said really wasn't, but we don't care) A good time was had by all, and no one left hungry.

Saturday consisted of about a 4 to 5 hour ride on the scenic drive through the Kettle Moraine Forrest to and from a nice biker bar that serves a great lunch. Jorg borrowed Don and Barb's standard, and they doubled up on their trike. It was fun seeing Jorg, hope he does it again soon.

In the picture, Lothair (98T), Myself, my better half Linda, Barbo, Jorg, and The Don

Jim,
Thanks for posting and providing the great picture.  Glad to see Jorg and friends are all doing well.  I often wonder how he is doing with the Rune.  I still miss it, but know it's in a good home with him.

Best regards, Ken Caldwell

Sorry I missed the festivities...

Just got back a couple of hours ago, from spending the weekend with my son Austin, fishing 'up-north' (Lax View Desert, on the MI/WI border), for his 25th birthday.

Caught a few, but the weatherman must be a PETA member  Wink  Too much rain, and temps in the 50's made for less than optimum fishing conditions.

Have a safe trip home Jorg...  See ya next time  cooldude

Time flies...
Always wanted to post an answer here, but first too busy.. and then forgot... shame on me  Embarrassed

Anyway, I REALLY enjoyed the time with Don & Barb and my other friends in Wisconsin.
Believe it or not - it's been my last longer ride since... too little time for so many horses...

Rune & Valk are all fine - winterized now and waiting for warmer weather.

As you all know, I won't make it to InZane again, sorry.
Maybe I will find some time later next year, we'll see.

Seasonal greetings and all the best for 2018 to all my friends in the VRCC !

I do miss you guys much Cry

Jorg , we have an emergency at  Inzane  that your company wants you to take care of. You tell them you must be sent there. We will think of the rest of the alabi later.

But unfortunately we are in quartz glass and ceramics business - and as much as I try, I cannot find any of it at my Valkyrie.  Grin

Jim
Thx. Don't recall for sure if I've been there. There's a yearly "van thing" rally weekend at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds every spring that we stay at, and usually hit a spot or two in the area for dining. Last  few years we hit the place by the pedestrian bridge across the river in downtown Jefferson but we have eaten in Watertown, also.
