... this week end while cruising around northern New Hampshire.

3 buddies and I did just under 700 miles from southern Ma and made it to the US/Canada border above Pittsburg, NH on Rte 3.

We went there just so we could say we did.

Saw one black standard with what looked like cobras on her, riding with another bike of undetermined make on Rte 49 in Campton, NH.

Saw 2 black Valks riding together on Rte 3 and the forth was a green/silver I/S (I think) on Rte 302 near the Crawford Notch.

Great ride, great weather, great area with great scenery. cooldude

It's nice to see some Valks out on the road.

It was.  We also managed to find a couple of places the served food and adult beverages.  They love bikers up there.  You can ride your atv on the roads and the trail systems are awesome, from what the locals told us.

I'm headed up to Stowe Vt Tuesday am. Going to cruise around that area for the day, maybe up to Canada. Camp nearby then head to Mt Washington on Wed....

If anyone wants to join up, drop a line.....

I was up that way on Saturday with my blue/silver Interstate.  I was riding with a titanium Goldwing and matte silver F6B.  Came across from Rangeley on 16.  Rt 16 from Errol to Kearsarge/North Conway and Hurricane Mountain Road/RT113 back to Maine.

Not a ton of bikes out.  Did see another blue/silver Interstate parked at Mt Washington Auto Road as I flew by but I didn't stop.

I'd bet that blue/silver interstate was the same one I saw, as it was near mt Washington.  Going the opposite way at speed, it looked green/silver.

I only saw eleven other original Valkyries in the several days we spent in the Black Hills during Bike Week (Sturgis).  The one rider, that I got a chance to talk to, was stopped in Scenic.  He had rode out from Rapid City and had a bone stock '97 Standard, red and white.  This Valk looked like it just rolled off the show room floor.  He indicated that he intended to keep it stock, not adding more chrome, etc.  That is probably a good plan at this time.  But I think he may have wavered after I showed him my '98 Tourer...
