So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Just curious of the percentages.

I assume many things, thought I'd ask.   angel

My 02 Standard now sports some Tourer Bags and OEM Windscreen with an Interstate tank and a belly tank, I like the look.   But, she started off as a Standard.

Sorry folks, I meant to put this in General.   Will contact Carl and ask him to move it there.
Went back to modify the poll so a rider could vote for multiple options but, I don't see that option.

Edited:  Carl has done what Carl does so well...........   Thanks Carl.   cooldude
He also fixed the poll so that you can vote multiple times.

For clarification, are you looking for what the bike was from the factory, or what she is set up as right now?

Mine came to me as a standard, but she's in a tourer (With non-OEM stuff) configuration now, how should I vote?

I was actually curious as to what the bike came from the factory as.   But, some folks may not know without a VIN check.  Mine came to me as a Standard and now resembles a Tourer.

IF, I can ever afford another, I want a Valkyrie Trike.   It seems the one I've claimed is still in New York and won't be coming this way for a while.   Yeah, you know who you are...............  Wink

97 standard, with added OEM saddlebags, windshield, and trunk.  Is it still a standard?

01 IS, with a Hannigan sidecar added.  Still an IS?

You can add anything you want and call it what you want to call it, but you can't change what's on that VIN sticker. The OP was regarding who has what, I selected four choices.

Is that what you thought of?

Virtually every choice on there was a flat six, there's only one other option, Vibrator.
If you wish to assign a brand name, that's fine by me.

Well, technically speaking, it's a '98 Standard (I voted Standard), but with an Interstate Tank, hard bags, and trunk with a Tourer windshield.

A Tourer, an IS and my vibrator is a twin but not "V". Norton made an inline twin that can shake, rattle and roll with the best of them.

I voted a while back. I have a jade and black Tourer. I call it "Snot". Don't know why they call it jade either, (shouldn't it be a little greener? ) but what the hey.

She was a neglected child when I bought her just b4 winter a few years back. But I got it for a great price from a buddy of mine that manages a Honda dealership here.  Working on the bike not only made winter more tolerable but "Snot" now looks and runs great.

I sometimes  ride Snot when I meet up with my Harley buddies just because they hate it. (I have 2 Harleys ) Makes me grin!

Well....i voted Standard.  It was heavily modified from when it was just a Standard, and I'm not sure I should vote considering I sold it to another  member here because I can no longer ride, but regardless, when I could ride, that's what I had.

Agreed. that in itself does not surprise me.   Lots of I/Ss out there.

Knowing the slight differences in the Tourer and the Standard, I'm thinking buyer's (back when they were new on the showroom floor) made the decision between the two based on their pocket books.   Could be wrong but, seems like there's a bunch of Standards out there now sporting a Tourer style/look.   angel

mine was among three '98 left overs on the show room floor in '00. didn't know much about the model line at the time. Rode a friend's '00 std and knew I wanted one. couldn't beat $90 over cost.
