The Chiefs definitely played a good game. Jones looked good. Looks like the loss of Edelman is going to hurt....

Good to see the Chiefs off to a strong start.  That it was the Patriots(?) just adds really tasty icing to the cake.

Go Chiefs!!   cooldude

The Patriots are the worst team in the NFL right now. 0-1.  Grin They will be fine, going to have to improve on that defense though.  Wink

I saw what was happening early enough to shut it off and go to bed. I figured the cheerleaders were going in as backup in the 4th quarter, at times the Pats were almost laughable. If it's time for football, how come it's still so darn hot?

Don't really care about the score (Although I'll admit I do get a smile whenever those cheaters lose) but what about the really important stuff...

Did everyone stand for the anthem??

According to the sports page on MSN Chiefs CB peters sat it out. I Used to watch the opening hype and Still LOVE the National Anthem and they generally have some service members in attendance. BUT until the nfl or the owners gits up off their azzs and straightens this out I REFUSE to watch the opening just in case some over paid dufus scum bag worthless turd UnAmerican S O B sits it out and raises my blood pressure too unacceptable levels. Again-make the overpaid dufus SOBs sit in the tunnel and zero/none/nada t v coverage and start fining them. They in it fer the money hit em LARGE in da wallet.  cooldude And keep hittin em in da wallet LARGE til it REALLYREALLYREALLY hurts. RIDE SAFE.

I've been a Chiefs fan my entire life.   I tuned into the game expecting a Patriots win but hoping for a Chiefs victory.  Although it wasn't shown during the playing of the national anthem, the announcer stated that Peters had remained sitting.    At that point, I changed the channel.

If Peters won't honor our flag and those who have served, fought and died to preserve it, I won't bother watching him play.   I sincerely hope a number of viewers did as I did and the ratings reflect the viewership and the time folks left the show.   To summarize, screw Peters...........   KC Chief or not.

Edited:  Ironically, the Patriots are my second favorite team.   Shrug

To be honest, I only watched part of the 3rd quarter, saw where it was going so after a few minutes shut it off. And, frankly, I didn't give a rip who won....just had better things to do.

I don't know why anyone would waste their time watching these overpaid cry babies. They distespect our country and law enforcement and think they are proving a point. The ones that watch this nonsense are just contributing to the problem. Just what I think of professional sports.
