Wow! just received some ebay parts

they were GW GL1500 final drive, drive flange and universal joint, all from a 2000 GW with 4700 miles on it which I was going to add to my spare parts bin. WRONG! universal joint is bad and all the splines show wear not consistent with 4700 miles. The final drive has rusty gear oil in it. They also sold to others an alternator and shocks and also stating only 4700 miles. I have already contacted requesting a refund.


I brought a 12k set of same parts off of craigslist a few months ago and all splines look brand new.

if stating 4700 miles there should be zero wear.

my thought also.  every part they listed for this 2000 Goldwing said 4700 miles.  there were four other bidders.  waiting for their response. they might have even sent the wrong parts, had that happen a few yrs ago.

So.. that means no Christmas in September.    I have only had a couple sour experiences with ebay and they were resolved without issue. Hope it works out for you.
