D R U ---Ya'll missed a good un !!!!!

     I got home at 4 P.M. and am a little tired. Made it thru Louisville-Frankfort-Lexington and got on Mtn Parkway going home.  Pretty clear most of the way and not a lot of traffic.
Want to thank Steve, Diana, Gavin, Karen and the rest of the planners for a FABULOUS Time in Indiana.  I got to see combines, sprayers, air drills, and tons of farm equipment at the John Deere store and was better than thrilled. I also want to tell everyone what a pleasure it was to meet EVERYONE.  Such a treasure to meet and greet   friends from years past,  new ones who came for the first time,  and a special thanks for the wood fire to sit around.  I had always heard of shooting bulls, BUT I did not know that much bull could be shot.  IT WAS GREAT !!! Lots of laughs, catching upon your happenings from home, and dreams and aspirations for years to come.  The Saturday ride was a pleasure to watch from the rear.  I believe everyone stayed in column, proper spaced and was watchful of each others actions while riding.  GOOD JOB  !!!  Best of all---NO INCIDENTS   !!!  All of you deserve a hearty back pat  !!!  Can we do it again next weekend ?????

     Going to eat supper and get ready for my bed to welcome me home.  I just can not sleep in a hotel,  They are comfortable and all, but just don't have my lumps and curves in the right places. Good thoughts and sweet dreams to all that came to the D R U and will have to wait for next year.  THANKS FOR THE BEYOND COUNTLESS MEMORIES ALL OF YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME !!!

Great job again this year, Rainman and whoever else worked to make the DRU so enjoyable.  I know it takes a lot of effort to pick and check out the roads we rode.  Enjoyed having breakfast with Gabby.

Excellent ride down from Cincinnati with Mark, Henry and Roger.  Look forward to next year.
