Wasn't sure if I was going to be able to make this an annual event but now I'm sure (at least for the 2nd year in a row) Shooting for Saturday October 28th around Noon. I have a special treat lined up for everyone !! A good friend of mine is the painter for Fiberglass Freaks here in Logansport. They are the only company in the world licensed by DC Comics to produce replicas of the 1960's George Barris Batmobile. He is going to take us on a tour of the facilities where they are built. So don't miss out , they are soooo kool !!! Tour at 2pm....Here is a link their website https://buybatparts.com/cms As was last year Mrs. Kep will be making her always delicious Chili Soup. I got almost there last year and had to stop for fuel. Phone rang and there was a family emergency. I didn't have maybe 30 minutes ride left if that? So back to my ranch I went. I have some scheduling to check and if I can I will be there, weathere permitting.

Logansport...just over an hour north of Indianapolis. I skirt around Logansport a few time each year to get to Monticello. Coming up the 35 and navigating that cloverleaf clustermess just to get to the 24 is something to behold. Do people there really dream about the moonlight on the Wabash? Looks to be a really good area to live in smalltown America in all seriousness. |

I've been looking at this event, have asked several of my Kentucky Dragon Riders if they have an interest. Gauging that interest now. Obviously, KY Dragon attendee will be based on Wx conditions. I don't have a clue at this point but, if I can generate enough interest, we'll see what happens. Will let you know if any Kentuckians I'm associated with decide to show up. If there's just a couple and the forecasted Wx is decent, we'll come up.

So, back to the top of the page.
I hope I'm able to attend but, that's still up in the air. I love riding and chili and would like to see that Batman Concept facility but, as I said, the stars have not aligned allowing to me to say it's a go as yet.

Partly sunny and chilly is the forecast for Saturday so if your are not riding in , please drive in for Chili and jaw session at noon. Batmobile factory tour is at 2pm. They have t-shirts and other items available.I need a head count , so either post here or PM me. It may be a once in a lifetime experience !

Totally Wx dependent for those who have said they were coming with me.
I'd suggest not planning on the four of us and if we show up, then we won't have any expectations except to enjoy the event. The Wx forecast will make up our minds.

Well , as much as I hate to , I am going to have to cancel the ride-in this year. May try to do it again in the spring when the weather is more cooperative. Chili and Batcave tour will still be the agenda then.
