Some more speculation on the shooters girlfriend that we know was out of the country but the police didnt say which country. Although there has been some articles that she is in the Philippines.
While Marilou is a free woman right now and no longer suspected of involvement, her recent trip to the United Arab Emirates in Dubai is raising some eyebrows. It’s not indicated when the photo was taken but appears to be recent, causing some to question if this trip was around the time that her boyfriend and perhaps her converted to Islam, Police stated today that Marilou was out of the country when they located her after the shooting. It wasn’t indicated where she was abroad when they held her for questioning, which seems questionable in itself. Furthermore, to travel abroad, she’d need all manner of identification, some of which was found on her boyfriend in his hotel room.
While they're probably still more believable than CNN, I don't put "USSA News" at the top of my list of reliable news sources... http://ussanews.com/News1/2017/10/02/breaking-look-where-vegas-shooters-girlfriend-just-showed-up-after-cops-released-her-truth-is-out/Regardless, the truth will come out, one way or another.

The Sherrif said she was in Tokyo. Trying to link him or her to Islam seems pretty tenuous at best. But go ahead.

You believe the Sheriff? I only reported information, I am not trying to link anyone to anywhere. I dont know about tenuous but if you want to believe that go ahead.

Well....yeah I guess I do believe the Sheriff. I see no reason for him to lie about it. Some seem to look for Muslims everywhere. I see no link to Islam , I could be wrong.

Seems the guy had a AK47 mounted on a tripod and it may have been full auto.
Some never seem to look for connections. If you dont explore possibilities you never get any answers. Its not only about what we know, its about exploring what we dont know and eliminating possibilities, that takes speculation and a process of elimination. If you see no link to Islam then you would never look there even if it was the truth, kind of like Comey on Hillary when he made the decision before she made her statement that she was not guilty. Well at least your in good company.
Just as a side note the shooter in Ft Lauderdale airport produced a gun and started shooting and was later identified as following Islam. There was much confusion about why he did it also in the beginning.

The official word is that he was using a .223 (5.56) and a .308. If confirmed that would lean towards AR pattern rifles. (Not guaranteed, but definitely leans that way.)

It was quite a long distance to the concert. Not only was it 32 stories up but the distance was pretty far approx 1000 feet. I was looking at the window from the pics on the ground and it would be pretty hard to identify that the window was broken and someone was shooting from it. Did you hear about the lady that was causing a scene and telling people before the concert started that they were all going to die. Security escorted her and her boyfriend out.

The estimate is it was around 500 yards, which gives more credence to it being 5.56 and/or .308. Both of those rounds are effective out to and beyond this range (Well beyond for the .308). The 7.62x39 of an AK is pushing the limits of it's effective range at 400 yards. (Assuming we're talking AK47 and not AK74 of course)

One of the requirements for the NATO 5.56 62 grain SS109 round was that it had to be capable of piercing one side of a WWII US M1 helmet at 800 meters.

Paddok was gambling 20 and 30k at a time, just heard a preliminary profile where it was also claimed he converted to Islam. Heard some of the 911 dispatcher as they were finding Paddoks room when the shooting was going on. The chaos and false reports were so many.
Michael S. Smith II, co-founder of terror analysis company Kronos Advisory, who regularly tracks ISIS activity, also confirmed to Newsweek the claim of responsibility and the claim about Paddock's conversion.
However, a U.S. official, unauthorized to speak publicly and speaking on condition of anonymity, tells Newsweek, "There is no indication that there is any link whatsoever. They claim a lot of things."
3100 fps would do it.

Either 7.62 or .223 are very accurate at 500 yards. In the Marine Corps we qualified at that range being expected to hit a little bigger than head sized bullseye.
Firing randomly into a crowd accuracy isn't nearly as important, especially if one is firing fully automatic.
Thirty-two floors of elevation allows gravity to help rather than harm range. Atmospheric resistance does remain the same.

https://www.aol.com/article...vegas-post/23230144/CBS has fired the network’s legal executive who wrote in a social media that she is “not even sympathetic” to victims of Sunday’s Las Vegas shooting, given that most country music fans are Republican. Hayley Geftman-Gold wrote, “If they wouldn’t do anything when children were murdered I have no hope that Repugs will ever do the right thing. I’m actually not even sympathetic bc country music fans often are Republican gun toters.” CBS’ response is below: “This individual, who was with us for approximately one year, violated the standards of our company and is no longer an employee of CBS. Her views as expressed on social media are deeply unacceptable to all of us at CBS. Our hearts go out to the victims in Las Vegas and their families.” Tell me the media isn't bias'd.......... Yeah, they had to fire her but............... If she'd kept her mouth shut, she'd still be there but, she let it out. Part of the corporate mind set with the media. It would seem that division is growing.....

Hell, a .22lr reportedly can travel a mile or more. Yes, like all bullets it is subjected to drop.....but when you are 32 stories up and shooting down..... And as someone alluded to earlier, with a big target (a whole field of thousands of people) accuracy wasn't necessarily a prerequisite I would imagine.
As with previous tragic mass shootings, misinformation about the gun or number of guns, the people involved etc runs rampant. I'm not sure if the sources are responsible for the misinformation or the reporters reporting are. We went from 10 guns found to 19 or so..... who isn't counting correctly.
I take reports with a grain of salt..... the story and the facts will ultimately get ironed out, but the bottom line is that there was a mass shooting that caused a terrible loss of life, injuries either as a direct result of being hit by gun fire or as a result somehow of the act and response to the gun fire. Lets keep them all, including their families, in our thoughts and prayers

I want to find this man, buy him a beer and shake his hand.
THIS is a real American, IMHO... I don't often bother to disagree with you, Serk. It was a ballsy act. I'll give you that. It doesn't make him a hero. A hero is someone who puts himself at risk to accomplish something meaningful. Flipping someone off just doesn't meet that description. Agreed, I'd be much more inclined to find the people like the young off duty firefighter who rounded up people's belts and stayed behind applying them as tourniquets. There was much heroism last night. This guys actions might be more due to intoxication. I have heard several stories of heroism at this catastrophe. One man threw himself over two women (total strangers) to protect them. He was killed. The women survived; one had her ear grazed by a bullet.

I have just read there was one fully auto firearm (but it's unreported if it was legal or not), and two semiautos with bump fire (is legal).
The count of firearms in his room is now 23, though with two tripods set up at two windows, he likely only used two (one auto and one bump, as I suspected). Presumably all the extras were just to make a bigger splash when discovered.
And probably a handgun to kill himself (that is not reported, I'm just guessing).
Why didn't he just use the handgun first????
Still no reports of anything found in searches of two of his homes to indicate motive.
I want to hear the results of his autopsy and drug/alcohol screen. (You may recall Charles Whitman the Texas Tower shooter was found to have a brain tumor, that may or may not have contributed to his actions. Unfortunately, he was embalmed before someone thought to order an autopsy.) I had a longtime neighbor MD (long serving HS sports team doctor), who completely lost his marbles late in life and did all sorts of crazy behavior before he died (no murder), and they found a baseball size tumor in his head.
Maybe all they find in Paddock is a worm. (he is now reported as a multimillionaire)

Two of the weapons used: One appears to be a Daniel Defense AR15, the other is another AR pattern rifle with a slide-fire bump fire stock on it. I've also come across a picture of the bastard after he offed himself, but I'm not posting snuff pics here. It looks like his exit of choice was a revolver in his mouth, I'll just say that much. I know it's been said before, but really wish THAT shot had been his first...

I've postulated with Ross-my brother-maybe-guessin again here NO proof-could his Physician told him he had X amount of days weeks left of life due to a terminal disease and figured-eff it-WHY go alone? And I DO in fact realize no basis of Any Proof to build my W A G on. Unless and until the investigation turns up something/anything lotsa keyboard commandos-me included-will spend lotsa time spinnin our wheels. BUT I duz agree COMPLETELY I one important point brought up by others-the only shot fired by this guy should have been into his brain pan. Sadly as we are All aware it weren't. RIDE SAFE.

The sheriff is now saying that he believes the shooter must have had help.
I've said that from the very beginning. Don't know who or, how many but, after hearing the tapes of this attack, I believed then and now that there was more than one shooter.
I'm not convinced Paddock was not a scape goat for others at this point.

Still no ballistic reports, hallway cam reports from the hotel, no confirmation of weapon used, I also heard that he had a camera in his room in addition to the hallway camera. Really we still have no information. Do you believe that a LV casino doesn't have cams on every floor in elevators and any place that public would be. Why have none of these even been talked about. I have also heard there is a gag order on the LV police. Now the time frame of the guard who was shot is off.
2 warnings came before the shooting, one from a guy on 4chan and one from a lady just before the concert started.
