Three bikes

But this one doesn't have nearly the motor that my IS has.  I've gained 40 pounds since I retired four years ago and figured it was time to hit the road.  Hoping this will help.  Couldn't beat the price!   cooldude

Last year's model, so it was on sale, but the best I've found it everywhere else was for a cool grand!  Excited with the purchase, hope I don't cripple myself on the trails with the young guys at work.   Cheesy

happy off roading with that beast.  great off road bike, but not so sure how good it rolls on pavement?

for as much bike riding as I do, my 200 dollar pacific bicycle will do....

I was in a similar situation - bought the bicycle and within a year I had lost 40 lbs and was doing great! Then a car hit me from behind doing 50 mph. AND she fleed the scene. Although my body was screwed my spirit was intact so within a year I was back on the bicycle riding to and from work. Then cell phones and the associated behaviours they bring hit the road harder and harder everyday. Now I only ride in residential areas where traffic and speed and commuting drivers are not an issue.

Yikes! I'm going to try to stay on the trails on base and avoid the cars as much as possible.

be safe and remember bicycles make you skinny if you use them.   cooldude
