seems like him and a lawyer are going after the nfl owners for collusion. If I owned and nfl team and if I wuz in need of a q b he would not since his antics even make my short list. but they might be Just me. personally I hope he NEVER takes another snap in the nfl. But again could be just me. RIDE SAFE.

I'd be ok with never seeing him again in the news, never mind in the NFL.

Geeze, just give him a job and he will stand... 2funny  He and his attorney will be like the mouse going after the cat. All he will do is finish throwing the dirt in the hole he dug for himself.  Screw him.

FWIW, he didn't say that. The reporter later recanted, saying Kaepernick never said that he'd stand if signed.

I can't imagine any owner willing to hire this guy. I think they will have a hard time in court.

yah, he will not win would be like a speck of dirt taking on a mountain.

Now since Rodgers is probably out for the year with the Packers,  if they sign him,  then I will NOT be watching anymore Packers games.   More fans will be shreading then their Packers stock shares.   Sad they could not even beat the lonely Vikings without him.  Although, Tony Romo is a possibility if he wants to get rid of his cushy, cushy job announcing, which I highly doubt he will.

IF pack hire the dud with the big hair in  my eyes it would be more proof-as if anymore were needed-that the owners are indeed dumber than a sack of rocks. AND the inmates ARE runnin the asylum. Would absofrikkinlutely ENJOY immensely him squandering the last of his cash. After that he may have 1 or 2 job options. One of the options could hear him saying-want fries with that?  2funny The other option may have him saying-don't turn around I have a gun just give me your money and your keys and no one gits hurt!  Evil But then again I could be not correct in my personal assessment.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

He walked off his job and expects another employer "SHOULD" employ him?

He over estimated his importance , his value.   He wasnt a bad QB but he wasnt a great one , a back up QB at best. He is 'TOO' expensive to hire now.  No owner wants the 'crap' that would come with him.  Too distracting for a team going after wins.  I think he is a stupid person for pissing off the fans , what else did he expect .  THAT is the issue he didn't expect this and now he isnt sure what his next move should be.  When you squat down and take a big 'crap' right on top of your 'cash cow' (fans) this is always a possibility  .  He gambled and lost....his career .  Sorta sad but as has been stated,  I do not feel sorry for him.

This is what you do when you are on the job and you hear the National Anthem... Even if it's a high school team across the street!

It was just a bit of humor.  When I went to HS, all sporting events were free (and no tickets to purchase).  I meant no disrespect to you or your family or working.  I apologize if I came off that way.  I do as much work as I am able on my own old home, sometimes even successfully.

I did disrespect roofing.  It does suck.

And kudos for standing for the anthem.

He did overestimate his value. He was a good QB his rookie year. But then it seemed his head swelled three times its normal size. I think his lawsuit will go nowhere. Owners aren't going to discuss banning him amongst themselves. He became a troublemaker and a drag on the team, not to mention the bad PR surrounding any hiring.

I got it, didn't think anything of it. I agree, roofing sucks big time. I moonlighted roofing jobs after my regular job while I was raising my family. My grandson roofed on this past sweltering summer "vacation" from high school, from daylight till time to come to his regular job with me. I just think since kaepernick's looking for work, he should try out for a roofing job, being he likes to kneel.

At the risk-ah heck-I hope he NEVER takes another snap in the nfl. AND I hope he uses up ALL his Cash suing the owners. They can hold out. He can't. The owners have deeper pockets and better barristers. Even if it do git to court he be toast. RIDE SAFE.

Yep. I think he was running in circles that thought like this, so he thought EVERYONE did. Figured he would be a hero and all the fans would love him.  Oops.

I wonder if there's an entertainment/sports law firm busy writing contracts that will include the clients "right" to protest.

And if not agreed to the prospective employer can then be sued for Ist Amendment breaches even before the person is hired?????

Look at what we're doing for this worthless not-so-good ex professional athlete.  He does what he does to draw attention.  He thinks it will help his "cause".

The best we could do is just ignore him and work on fixing what he's already messed up.

avg or worst QB?  not that good is why he is not on a team.  Vick got a job, because he still could play and win games, even though this is a big dog loving (not to eat) country.

He was rumored to have a job with the Ravens, but his girlfriend screwed it it up with a odd posting/tweet and pissed off the team's owner.

Which he would LOSE !!!

The 1st amendment is to protect you from being muzzled by the GOVERNMENT. It says nothing about an employer's conditions of work.
