Oh damn. I'd heard stories about that, but never saw that pic. Looks like you exploded the deer.

I remember that.  So lucky you are still with us.  You and your bike were much more messed up than I was on 6/15/01 and I hit TWO muley bucks at 70 with no safety gear on.  And I'm still riding "Deerslayer"!

There are a lot of deer around here but it's the moose that scare me most. Every time we shoot one i get a little nervous that karma might get me. Glad you are still riding!

I remember when that happened to you.
Man I also remember how much the loss of
that bike got to you for a while. That was
the first Valk that I sat on that I could reach
 the ground on.
Glad like all of us that you have had the additional
years with us.

Yep, deer.  The bike was totaled, but I bought the salvage.  The bike eventually became Chase Kinter's red and white.  I'm sure you've seen that.

After all that customizing, it was a heart breaker.

Just goes to show how much better things will turn out if you can stay with bike.  I got thrown like rag doll.

I've been put in the hospital a couple times with MC accidents. But I don't think I ever had that Mona Lisa smile like that. Your toughness is legendary.  Smiley

The bike was knocked on it's side and I pushed away from it before it flipped.  And it did.  While I skidded down the road losing skin. Glad the bike was ahead of me so it wouldn't land on me.  So the deer "laid er down".

I don't know why, but I thought you managed to ride it out.

We never forget a day like that.  I remember the bike, the girl, and the situation. You did a good job staying with us!  cooldude

Mine was January 28, 2002 at 4pm. Remarkable, I can't remember what I did yesterday but that memory is clear.  Cheesy

It's things like this that always make me wish hunters good luck.   Haven't hit a forest rat on a bike but have paid for the repair of two cages that deer tried to take out.   Cute they may be but stupid and dangerous to have around.    Glad things worked out.    Yep, have seen Chase's bike several times.   Looks good.
