Really nice video review.

I think Honda got everything right on this bike.

The only problem with a bike like this is that its so complex you pretty much are taking it to the dealer if something goes wrong.  I suppose that's what they want.  Hopefully its as bomb proof as its predecessors so change oil, tires, air filter and ride is all you need.  I really like the front suspension and the DCT option and think I could get used to the no clutch handle but it would be weird at first.

I think I read last week on HondaProKevin a list of accessories and you can get a manual installed on the DCT model so that you have both options for somewhere around $400.  I look forward to the winter motorcycle shows to check this machine out.

I think that was just for a foot shifter vs. paddle shifter. Still no clutch lever. I wish I could go to the Long Beach show with some of the guys. But turkeys are my life this time of year.  tickedoff

2funny I'm a meat dept. mgr. This time of year we handle 5 billion turkeys. (Well maybe only 3 billion) The 2 weeks before Thanksgiving suck. Some of our SoCal guys are going to the Long Beach show on the weekend before. It's probably a good thing I can't go. I'd be tempted to put money down on one if I saw it.  Smiley

DCT foot shifter $600.  On models equipped with DCT it provides option of footshifting.  #08U71-MKC-A00 when ordering.  Kevin even has a picture of it along with other accessories.  Center stand for 150 dollars would be neat.

I think the new Goldwing is really cool. I kind of want to steal some of the things it has for my Valk 1500 I/S.
Maybe I can see if I can get Apple Car Play installed into it.

At Americade this year Honda only brought 2 gold wings   WTF !!!

Even tho we got there early with only 3 slots before noon that meant only 6 people out of THOUSANDS got a ride. At least Indian brought a dozen bikes or more, mostly chieftains + 2 scouts

Would love to try one and see how much better it handles than the 06's I have ridden before and also would love to ride a super duke if KTM has some on hand this year

Thinking that if I leave before 6am I should be able to catch a ride on one next year at Lake george

I own a Gl1800, so I only rode the Indians at Americade. You are right, honda totally dropped the ball at Americade. Long lines, and 2 Goldwings!

I'll just stick with my old 98 std. I can work on it with no dealer contribution.

Only 49000, so I'm good till I'm gone.  Grin
