Ordered seven 5-quart jugs of oil to do 5 oil changes on one of the cars.  Ordered on-line from Walmart as the price was terrific.  Paid with Paypal as I was burned once not using it for a good sum of money and learned my lesson.  Unfortunately, even though the Mobil 1 was 0W40, it is not recommended by the factory and while the car is still under warranty and I'm doing the work myself, I want to only use what recommended, just in case, so I have receipts and such.

So, I load the oil into the car and head over to the local Walmart in White Plains.  If you know this place, not sure why you would, it is by FAR the worst Walmart, ever.  The building is directly downtown (used to be Sears) with above ground parking that is shared with municiple parking so you have to get a ticket and have it stamped at the register or pay to park.  The garage is dark and dingy and the spots and traffic lanes are narrow.

Anyway, since I bought the oil on-line and paid through Paypal, Walmart couldn't credit my card or give me cash, just a gift card (to a store I never go to).  I'm still walking around with gift cards from my 50th B'Day party 3.5 years ago.  I hate gift cards, but that's a whole different rant.  She told me if I sent the oil back, Paypal would credit my account, but saving them the shipping and carrying the oil into the store got me a couple of gift cards.  Live and learn.

Gary , the cards are useable at and store. If worse comes to worse , put the card in an envelope and contribute to IZ as a give away.

Why not just load up on oil for your bike(and maybe riding buddies bikes):

or:

T5 and T6 are JASO MA compliant...says so on the jug!

Gave the gift cards to the wife.  Scored some points and she'll use them.  Prolly could have used them on line for something, but...
