This hot little number caught my eye.  Don't know where the tourer windshield came from, or the driving lights but everything else looks to be stock.  Good price and super clean.  At least by the photos.

gee whiz, I just bought a 1998 like this but blue/ivory cream,  not as clean with 78K miles for 3K thought I got a good deal with more chrome goodies, but this is cleaner and barely ridden with hardly any miles on it even better deal.

oh boy, lucky I ma not closer otherwise I would be on my 3rd Valk and make it 6 cycles in the garage/trailer, but then I would SERIOUSLY have to buy a dog house to live in for wife would kill me having 6 cycles, even 5 now is too much.

Screamin' deal, if it's what it appears.  Deluxe model, with chrome wheels.  Cobra light bar, unobtanium.  OEM shield.

Could be a great deal or not.   Would have to inspect the bike and then be convinced that odometer hasn't turned over once or twice.   Not saying it has, just that I don't know.

He showed you a picture of the timing belt cover.  That's not a 100,000 mile bike.

You are probably right Carl.   I'm just used to dealing with a lot of scammers in my semi-retirement part time job.    Verify everything possible and then check again has become the standard.

Carl with all due respect I have a 120k plus bike and you can't tell the timing belt cover from a new one.. Just sayin. Or the block or any other part of the bike for that matter.

It`s a good looking bike. I wouldn`t sell my blue & white that cheap. And I don`t have the OEM shield or the ShowChrome light bars. But I do have both mirrors and reflectors on rad sides. So, I guess it`s about even.  2funny

Rob I have seen many remove the reflectors on the rad for one reason or another ( didn't make sense to me) but I can't xplain the missing mirror! Good eye.

I think alot of the time it`s because the sides come loose and tighten them up and just don`t put them back on. It is a good deal for somebody. cooldude

Fork tubes don't show a 100,000 mile bike. At 113,000 miles on mine the clear coat looked pretty beat.

I know how you feel, still contemplating how 5 cycles will fit in a trailer and my 2 car garage with keeping 2 cars as well inside the garage.... Cry    I bought 3 (2 of the 3 too good to pass up apparently?  Roll Eyes) this year.  I am a sucker for what I think good deals.  My limit is done NOW though will have to sell one come spring, well maybe? Roll Eyes

Wife told me better figure it out SOON since so cold out now she is scraping every morning her windshield and does not like it, no snow yet either will be double whammy then.  I told her to put cardboard under the wipers on front SUV windshield but she does not listen to me... 2funny
