THANK YOU! Over the years, I have seen a lot of eloquent and well thought out words on this day, on this board. I am a person that either keeps his mouth shut, or says what is on his mind. Today, what is on my mind, is to say "THANK YOU" to all who have served, and sacrificed, for this country and it's people. I am proud of my time in service, as, I know you all are proud of yours.

  That is all.

Thank you. I'm proud of mine also. Although I don't really feel like I sacrificed anything at all. I got a lot more out of it than I put in.  cooldude

Mike, a day late to say thank you to you and everyone else  for your service. I am proud of mine also. Vietnam 67-68. Did not get on the forum yesterday, spent Veterans day at my sisters funeral.

Sorry about your sister. Will keep you and the family in our thoughts and prayers. I served 72-76 USAF. The powers that be saw fit not to send me to Vietnam, although I did serve over in Germany.
