How many places do you go by and say that place looks like a great place to stop but keep going? If you don't spend time there how do you know by just looking at a place if its someplace you would like. But once you spend time knowing the people knowing the place and putting some emotion with the place then you really begin to like the place.

We do this with God though.

We read about Him or hear about Him, but like driving by but never really stop and find out or live with Him and make that place of interest a point to explore. God loves us to search for Him, and what's really funny He has to open the door for us to find Him and even have a desire to know Him. But once He opens that door He wants us to come and explore and find Him.

Kind of like Moses and the burning bush. God didn't speak until Moses, curious, went to find out what was up. Then God' s purposes were revealed and His choice of Moses to do this task was revealed. Once revealed and once Moses knew Gods plan His life was never the same. But the funny thing is God had a call on Moses since he was born. So that means that God was with Moses from the day he was born. But the true plan was not revealed till that one fateful day.

The day God Planed for Moses to meet the God who made Him.

What a life changing event even though God had guided the life of Moses all along. But Moses never knew it. How similar to our lives.

How much of your life parallels with Moses? Do you know God has a plan for you and that God calls you to have a much deeper relationship with Him? Do you realize that your life will never really be as full and complete until you find this true relationship with God? He created you for this time with a purpose and plan for greatness. It does not matter where you are now or the situation. I have seen so many situations changed in an instant by Him. God calls us into a deep intimate relationship with Him.
We already are known intimately by God but we don't know Him.

I compare this to a mother who has a child and has to give that child away and yet from a distance and watches them grow up and provide for them in ways that they can. Until one day they find out their adopted parents really are not our true parents. When they find their true parents and meet and find out that all our traits, desires, and wants and way of doing things was because they were made that way. They find their true parent and want to find out all we can about them. Taking time to ask questions and find out what they are like. That is how God should be to us.  That is how God wants us to be to spend the time to find out all the things He wants to do for us and the doors that would open in knowing Him. What a great adventure.
