Hooray for heated jacket liner, gloves and handlebar grips.

Lunched at TWoS which will close for winter at the end of this month.

Sitting at a long communal table a younger guy joined me and introduced himself as Tiger. Tiger Feng. Obviously not of Irish ancestry  Evil

Just moved from CA and lives in north metro Atlanta. He rides a Super Tenere which he bought in Dallas and rode to Atlanta.

His first time at TWoS and his first ride into the N GA mountains.

I recommended a map on sale at TWoS of the best roads in N GA, E TN and W NC. We then took a look at the map with me pointing out some of the "best" roads.

It was obvious that he was really looking forward to exploring the area.

I gave him contact info about the N GA Motorcycle Club and "The Gauntlet" http://gauntletga.com/

I do envy his being able to ride all the roads for the first time.

I just envy all of you folks in this area of the Country having roads such as you described to ride at anytime.   TWoS looks like a great place.  Cabins at $60 and Lodge Room at $70 is a great bargin.

I'm also envious.  I've put my Valk in the basement workshop and removed the tank.  My 2017 riding season has ended, depressed.  High temps here in the 30's, and have seen ice and snow...

100 miles here in the Panhandle of Texas. No curves but still good for me right now. Just finished treatment number 10 of Chemotherapy.  Best I can say is "smiles for miles" right now.

Lesa and I put in around 150 miles or so yesterday as well. She on her 1982 CB900C and me on the Valk.
Temps one way or the other of 80f yesterday with a touch of rain on the return trip.
