I just bought a black '98 Valkyrie Tourer, and the rims are black instead of the brushed aluminum. Has anyone ever seen black rims?

A previous owner likely had them powder coated. I have seen black as well as other colors.

I got tired of cleaning (scrubbing, polishing) mine.

They are dark battleship grey now, and some day will be nearly black all on their own.   crazy2

One of my bikes came with powder coated rims (silver) and I used this stuff (black) on another set on my Bobber.

Both are easy to care for and have held up very good.
