That's not bad.
I too have been torn between good grip and good concealment on my J frames (one of which is a rare square butt, a better but bigger handle)
Now I run a crimson trace laser grip (the small one) on my carry J frame (round butt). To me, the tiny gun and short bbl of the Jframe is the best place for a laser grip there is. At night when most bad mojo goes down, the sights (only marginal in daylight) are invisible and useless. Pinpointing your target, at night, is optimal for your legal well being (not hitting something or someone else by accident).
The rubber Crimson Trace small grip is more likely to hang up on clothes or a pocket than smooth wood, but the addition of a laser sight for night time use is worth the drawback.
My 360 has a hammer, otherwise, same deal. I have small hands, but yep the pinky is still underneath.
