It was brought to my attention that I crossed the names of two pictures.  The picture of the Tourer for May is listed as Red Diamond.  It is actually a picture of the bike belonging to MichaelYoung254 of Huntsville, Texas.  It was taken in the Badlands.

The mistake was mine.  I crossed the names of two pictures.  I apologize to Michael and to Red Diamond.

I noticed that, but I wasn't going to complain. I'm just proud that y'all thought enough of my bike to include it in the calendar.  Grin

BTW, I'm really hoping to make it to InZane this year, and if anybody wants me to, I will autograph their calendar on the picture with the mistake. Kinda like when the U.S. Treasury makes a mistake on currency, this calendar may be worth millions some day!  crazy2

Doesn't that mean their collectors items now?

Personally I think it was a pretty cool mistake. Michael got his bike pictured on the 2018 Calendar, my handle is below it. How many people do you think know who Red Diamond is versus those who know what bike that is on the calendar. Michael got the better deal, I think I'll sue for copyright infringement.

I just got my calendar today. Obviously they're all beautiful bikes, but I have to compliment the picture takers. If you didn't know better, you'd think these were all professional shoots....they weren't, were they?

We have at least one professional photographer in the VRCC.  All the photos are digitally worked, enhanced where needed, by WamegoRob.

The first thing my wife said when she saw the picture Rob was “when did you get your bike painted”. Tells you how often she goes into the garage.
