I’m testing too. Don’t know how I got the double image. Didn’t have a Valk pic on my iPad so I posted a pic of the new (to me) Corvette engine I just bought last month to transplant into my 67 Chevelle.

It's just a website, so it should work fine. You just upload your picture to it, it gives you a URL, then you use that URL to post the picture...

There are not to many in the condition of that one..... The only parts not replaced was the boot floor, rear inner guards, Inner roof frame, A pillars and tail light surrounds..... everything else is new panels, new full chassis, new adjustable suspension, new running gear, lots of billet alloy parts, crazy money spent on it.....but being the owners friend my part of this build was done near cost.....

I didn't fit the new panels, the importer of them did, I just tidied them up

As I got the car to my workshop

Pulled the chassis out

They stripped it and I painted it

Steel hammer and file work done

Straight from the spray booth

underside

I have not asked him what the total $ was, Don't really want to know

Once upon a time, I owned a '69 Chevelle SS 396 convertible.

Probably my favorite car of all time.

Baby blue, white top and interior.

I was a poor student and it needed more work than I could afford, so I sold it.  Wish I had a do-over.

or not?

could not resist,  above pic price was right and nice sparkles already on. Looks white but is dark blue and cream/ivory with that flaming death car tire on back... Roll Eyes

sorry, not the best pic since was checking it over with buyer and me in the background at his house a few months ago.  For 3K was hard to pass up since he was getting 20 phone calls on it per day am sure at around that asking price needing the money.  asking 3200 should have said 2800 just to see if he would jump on it but 3K is fair I think? Wink

Everyone says handlebar risers are good but I find them on this bike too tall for me being only 5'10" having more effort to put my hands up that high vs. more down low.  I got a national cycle windshield used to put on it come spring and going to have to try getting a new car tire on it come 2018 as well.  Cobra seats are HARD not my style either but they do look sharp and do fit my big butt nicely, but have an air hawk seat cushion to use as well.  Like those cobra exhausts (for shorter trips anyways) to REV the snot out of it at times, sounds tough definitely NOT a potatoe potatoe HD sound.

You can loosen the handlebar clamps and rotate the bars to a more comfortable position.

yah right, all 4 cycles paid 14k total over the years.  You see 3 of them and the 4th I paid for is a 250cc scoot for 1 grand.

I actually have 5 cycles but the kid paid for one, a v65 83 magna.  Now I have all the basis covered from the guy who wants just to RACE in a straight line,  take v65 out,  the cruiser in 2 Valks one long distance in I/S and other hooligan bike with cobra exhaust/car tire, the mid-sized 97 magna to tool around on but not really since is the kids bike too small for me really but he really likes it, and my 250cc scooter in case ANY HD owner wants to race..... 2funny

Steve,

Looks like you've got the picture posting thing down, amigo! Now, about that jumping the curb and landing in your neighbor's yard...? Good luck... As a precaution, though, I suggest you always have Diane onboard when you ride... I just know she wouldn't tolerate no curb-jumping!!!

now that pic is where one says,  you cannot hide money.....

2 very sharp bikes for sure would love to have both in my garage but for now 2 old Valks valued at 10K total  will do just fine for the amount of riding I do yearly.

Is it really?  I thought it might be from someone on here, maybe I will jingle REB and get more info. on it.  I took off the SIU since had no idea what it stood for.

Has 78K miles on it and runs well, would like to get more info. on it on what was done prior still has an old rear car tire on it that should be replaced for age more so vs. lack of use since still has tread left.

I'm about 99.9% sure it is his old one.  Are the headers dented on one side?

not that I saw no dents on exhaust or headers, but very dark colored will not come off and it backfires/pops pretty bad upon hard deceleration letting of the throttle, but other than that, runs well.

yep was rebs valk.  appears i am 7th or even 8th owner of bike.  one thing pretty sure on I will keep it more than 1 year each the past 2 owners had it not driving it much at all.  found out from Reb that has a 1997 QUICKEST engine in it and seat of my pants feel is it goes faster than my 2001 Valk Interstate.  But, that could just be since it is LOUD and NOT quiet exhaust like my stock I/S pipes.
