Wow, just noticed a set of...new set of Viking pipes in the classifieds posted by one of the best friends to the Valkyrie...Jeff K. Wish I had $2k, would snap them up in a heartbeat.
I have know he has had these for years. Hell I would buy them on the off chance I MIGHT get another Valk. I am sure they will go to a good home.

I had a set on my Interstate. In my opinion, hands down the best sounding pipes for a Valkyrie and they did actually enhance performance, not take it away like the Cobras. They were almost $1400 when new if I remember correctly.  I have seen things for sale int he classifieds that are priced over double what they were new, I actually think it's a fair deal and if I thought I was going to ever own another Valkyrie I would be all over them.

When I got mine they were one of the last sets Viking made.  They were $1250.00. I agree with Dave. They have the best sound..

I had Vikings, and I have had 2 sets of Mark T pipes...both sound great and they are both different sounding.
Again, I would buy these in a hear beat...Jeff K is a great guy and someone is going to get an amazing set of pipes

I had a great looking set on my Interstate when we bought it. To me they were the best sounding pipes I’ve ever heard but my wife hated them. She wouldn’t even follow me in her car. She said the sound hurt her ears. Sold mine and installed Mark T exhaust. They are nice but don’t sound like the Vikings. Sold my set but Kind of wish I’d kept them. They would be great on a single seat Valkyrie.

A friend on this board bought a Viking set last year. Paid $150 for them. Of course the seller didn't know what he was selling.

That would be like the Valkyrie lottery...

Mark T makes a fine set of pipes and has been a strong supporter of the VRCC pretty much from the start of the club. His unique way of altering the exhaust volume is perfect for the rider that wants to be noisy some times and quiet others.

I got many compliments on the sound of my Valkyrie and had many tell me that it sounded like a 5.0 Mustang. I also liked the fact that the Vikings were equal length headers and the carb needles that came with the pipe set seemed to give the bike a mid range power boost as well. (This is by butt dyno only, no data to back up my claim.)

Makes my Super Trapps that are for sale at $800 seem like a deal.

I'm holding out for a set of Hard Krome pipes.
