yep..I had a patient in 2 days ago--no signals were going off and no barriers down he said and he hit the train in his pick up truck and it carried him down some 30-40 feet--the whole left side of his body was badly bruised and a big hematoma on his leg

I once stopped at a track lights were on arms down train went by. I was watching the train go down the track and the lights went out and the arms lifted so I started to go, I should have looked the other way 'cause there was a second train on the other tracks going the same direction. Fortunately I was in a quick vehicle and punched it. I made it but it was way too close for comfort. I blame it on a glitch in the signalling system but I still should have looked both ways.
