I have seen Tourer windshields with the “Tourer” appliqué. I have also seen many without the word Tourer. So my question is, is that something some of you have added yourselves or were there just some windshields made that way and some not for some reason?

Jeff:
My 97 Tourer did not have the script.
Great windscreen, with the turn signal cutouts, wish I still had it.

If it was actually a "Tourer" model from the factory, it was there. If it was added later, no "Tourer". Look up your bike by the VIN to see if it is actually a Tourer or a converted standard.

You are probably correct.
I had three 97 “Standards”, but at least one used to be a Tourer, I found out later.
They were all bought previously owned.

It's a included part on all CT's and there are two different ones, three all together.

This is the screen one and it's no longer available.
EMBLEM, GARNISH (UPPER)
64125-MZ0-A20

This is the saddle bag one and it's $16.83 from Partzilla.
EMBLEM, SADDLEBAG

The only difference I can see is the bag one is slightly bigger.

My 2000 has it on the windshield and the bags.  I thought they were all the same size, but haven't measured.  If I remember tonight, I will.

The one on the windshield is 4 7/8" and has a bit of a curve. The ones on the bags are 5 3/4".
