I just read that this morning. I have used Enterprise many times. NEVER AGAIN. They have basically told me that they hold the NRA responsible for school shootings. They caved to the liberal anti-gun zelots. So they jon the list of anti-gun companies I will NOT do business with. The last was the president of Camping World who said "conservative " are not welcome in his stores. They bought Gander Mountain stores and will open a new store near me. I will not be going into the new store when it opens in Ft Wayne.

It's so helpful that they identify themselves so willingly.

Let all these companies shoot themselves in the foot.

I vote with my feet and my money, and I have a long memory.

More polarization, just what we need.

Thanks for the heads up. I rarely rent cars, but it has happened.

I sent them a short email this morning.

"Last June, my brother and I rented one of your Ram 2500 trucks to carry ourselves, our wives, and motorcycles out to Montana.  The year before that, my wife utilized Enterprise when her car was tied up in the air bag recall and was in the shop for 2 months.  I am writing this to inform you those were the last times my family will be using Enterprise.  Your service was great, but I cannot, in good faith, use a company that bows under pressure to blame the 5 million members of the NRA for a tragedy with which we had no part.  My brother, father, and I are all Life Members of the NRA and are strong supporters of the 2nd Amendment. I believe your stance is short sighted."

They responded:

"We don’t sponsor, endorse or take a political stance on any of those organizations. We regularly review our discount offers and decide which ones continue to make sense for our business."

and my final response:

"Sorry, that's one huge coincidence.  Not buying it."

Enterprise also owns National Car Rental and Alamo Rent a Car, those companies are doing the same.

And a suggestion, redirect your anger into signing up, upgrading your membership, etc to the NRA:

https://membership.nra.org/

If you've got money left over, join the GOA:

https://gunowners.org/

And then the NAGR:

https://www.nationalgunrights.org/

And if you use Amazon.com, sign up for Amazon Smile, start making sure you g to smile.amazon.com instead of just Amazon.com and set your charity to "Gun Owners Foundation"

Then, every time you buy something from Amazon, you're making a small contribution to the GOA to protect our civil rights.

They are caving to some bots and the fools do not realize it.  Maybe they should study how this occurs.  Classic tactic of the lunatic left. A lot of other businesses currently are being hit with them.

Which B T W-begs the question-how zackly is the N R A at fault in this or any other mass killing? Did the truck companies quit building the trucks used in those related mass murders? Did folks stop buying those trucks? Did Boeing or Airbus get boycotted after Major aircraft crashes? I mentioned hidden agendas and outside forces in another post. Too many questions too few answers. RIDE SAFE.

I guess you won’t be doing business with Delta Airlines, Best Western, Hertz, Met Life, Starbucks, Chipotle. The list is long and getting longer every day.

Screw them all.

Though lets be clear, some (most?) of these folks are only stopping a small price discount for NRA members.  It's not like everyone owes us a small discount, or that they are saying they refuse to do business with any NRA members.

But doing it to publicly send a message, is enough reason to boycott them anyway.

I’ve had an Enterprise car for a week now. Not sure how I could boycott as they are the only show in town that I know of. It’s a RAV4, I’ll just go muddin’ before I turn it in. Evil

yah,  when gander mountain closed and is now called gander outdoors in nearby town, we decided to stop on by.  WOW, looks like will not be going in there again for no reason to.  NO sales, overpriced merchandise, and 10 (NO JOKE) store associates standing around doing nothing but chatting since NO customers in the store at all the whole 10 minutes in there.  I looked at the retail pricing and remodeling and surely NO sales to be had all full sticker shock.  The 2-3 local gander mountain old school stores always had merchandise on sale and usually bought some even if not needed since the deals on clothing or fishing were nearly too good to pass up on clearance almost every single time we went there.  Not so anymore.

hard to believe a company who sells guns in their own stores would make such a comment shooting themselves in their foot.  The stores will not survive for long pretty sure on that.

NOPE..... In case you haven't noticed there are many other companies other than these that offer the same services.  All those you listed have competing companies that I am sure would want our money.  For instance. Chipotle. Never been there and now I will never. We have a local Mexican restaurant that we love. I also won't pay to go to movies that have actors in them that open their big mouths against conservatives. You see I don't need to be entertained. So the list can get longer,I don't care. After reading the comments on the thread my brother started on FB there are a lot more people saying they will never do business with Enterprise then there are that will as a result of their statement.

Like was said above. These companies could have just dropped the discounts to NRA members and most of us would have had no idea it happened. But they made it known in the news thus making a political statement. So as consumers all we can do is not use their services.

Never been to Chipolte (I don't care much to pay someone to give me food poisoning) or Starbucks (not a coffee drinker, and if I were, I am sure I could make a better cup than their overpriced brew).

I didn't join the NRA to get a 5% discount at some motel... I joined to
support their efforts as 2nd amendment lobbyists. Having been on
the losing side, I can say that when the political calculus goes against
you, you're toast.
