The Red and Cream is a beautiful color scheme for the Valkyrie. Only Black was available where I purchased mine.

I wish Honda had the color options of HD. Not much choice when you buy a Honda.  Undecided

Tony, you're right, but I'm glad Honda spent their R&D money on other things then paint.

I've found the quality of the paint they use is excellent.

I did a tour of the HD York, PA plant.  They seemed more concerned with the paint than anything else. Shocked

It's basically a paint, frame, fender and assembly shop.

Besides, black is the fastest color. Smiley

$3,999 for a 1999 with only ~ 19,000 miles seems low. If this price point is about right, I have to reset my expectations for a trade-in/private sale for my 2000 Valkyrie with 100K plus miles.  Shocked

I agree. But man do I wish Honda offered the new Gold Wing in a copper color. Sort of like this...

Hey Al! We'll see. I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Hard to think of it when my yard is covered in snow and I've got tree limbs and small trees down all over the place.   Cool

Tony, you can't go wrong with any new Motorcycle. The Manufacturers are building very dependable machines and they all (at least most) look pretty.
Make a list of what you want,, then throw that list in the trash and go with what moves you Wink  Wink . Even if it is the Valk in your own garage.

You finally did it YB, perverted, I mean converted another one. One of the HD guys I still hang around with bought a 2016 R/G. Beat feet to Alaska, came home, back to San Diego to see his son graduate Navy training (maybe BUD/S?)  came home, back to Montana just because,,,you get the point. In just over a year and a half he put on 40,000. Machine is just as tight as the day he put. the only thing he changed was the seat

Spent half the night looking for that picture. The newer ones are lower and faster. I think you should take one for a test drive.
