San Jose, CA. 1999 I/S 232 miles when bought 11/05

Hey all, been a long time since I have been on the forum.

Hope that I can get some suggestions for replacement throttle cables for my '99 I/S.
Stockers are working fine I just wanted to upgrade the appearance a little bit.
I have replaced the brake and clutch lines to silver braided lines made by Galfer and I have upgraded my choke cable to Motion Pro Armor coated (Steele Braided) cable.
Does anyone have the part numbers or at least a source for proper fitting Throttle push and pull cables for the I/S

Please tell me if I am wrong but I believe that I can NOT use the same cable as the Standard/Tourer use,,, is that correct?

This new project came about due to another issue that I recently had with stalling and think I will need to do some major tear down so I might as well replace these cable while I messing with stuff, Going to replace the right side kill switch and start button assembly so I have to remove the cables from that side might as well swap them out with something better looking right...

Thanks a bunch in advance.

Sorry, I thought I responded when you posted this. I had the Galfer stainless braided on my Interstate. One broke, but that was my error due to improper routing after I put a DanMarc valve on. You can use Standard cables, they are a little longer and work fine. I currently have stock Standard cables on my I/S now. I didn't like the way the sun discolored the clear plastic over the stainless braid. But that may not be an issue in your area. The sun is frigging brutal here.

Thanks for the info now I can order my cables.
Appreciate the info Brother Ride often and ride safe!

I didn't respond 'cause I prefer OEM cables.

I had to change out all the cables and lines on my 1800 when I changed
out the handlebars, and went with Motion-Pro, but I used black lines.

Not a big deal hubcapsc.

I have had good luck with the Galfer brake and clutch lines but also the Motion-Pro choke cable has held up good so far the brake and clutch are few years (maybe 5-6) old and I think the choke cable is about 2+ years old now.
