I just built a wooden shelter just big enough for my Valk to fit in. It is insulated and heated.  Has anyone else done this and if so did you have any problems over the winter season , such as ventilation etc.   ???

Don't seem to have that problem here in Georgia...but will probably put in a can of Seafoam at next fillup just in case I don't ride it for a while this winter...

The only issue I ever had was come spring after not riding for a few months, the bike ran a little weak. I found a mouse made a nice little nest in my air box and clogged it up pretty good. tickedoff

Just keeping it out of the weather and dry is key. Minimize humidity and dampness.

Sounds like you're going to be fine, a trickle charger on the battery would be good too.

That is the key factor, humidity & dampness. I park my Valk. in a unheated garage that is well insulated. Normanly it is not opened except to check on bike, and then in and out very quickly. Fast temp changes will cause condensation on all metal. How do I know this ? I had my 1100 Spirit, uncovered in said garage. Temp`s had been in the teens for days and warmed up to about 50 plus. I opened the door for a few minutes and "bam" the bike was dripping wet. Lesson learned.  Wink

Old Wive's trick: go and buy some cheap fabric softener sheets. Hang them and various places around the bike. Keeps the mice away.

That's a great idea using fabric softener sheets. Never heard of that one. Thanks

I'll connect the trickle charger, put in some Sta-Bil, fill-up the tank, run it so some Sta-Bil gets into the carbs, turn off the gas and then turn off the bike. I also have some cardboard in the garage that I park the bike on and not concrete, helps prevent the tires from dry rotting. Of course if we get a few decent days over the winter then I will take the bike out and run a few errands but otherwise that is about all I do.
