What size are the forks?

I need mounts for a Batwing fairing to go on the forks. Biggest I've found is 55mm but some have measured it with calipers and told me that they are 56mm.

What do I need and what's the part number?

I have some calipers. Measure down from the top and let me know where you want a measurement. STD forks are tapered. The lower down the smaller.

And don't buy the china ones on ebay. They are not the correct size. I know this.

I bought a set from Dennis Kirk...picture showed 4 there were only 2...went back to website...description said PAIR   
I ordered another pair to be delivered by Friday.
They are cheap chinese chit but what isn't these days...best I can tell they fit, I'll take the windshield off to be sure when the other set shows up.
