So a couple of W/Es ago I won three items off of ebay from three different sellers, two came in the following week like Wed/Thur, great, but the one that I wanted most hasn't shown up yet!  And my money has been detracted out of my bank account for a week now! (paypal)

I went to "ask the seller a question" on the ebay link and emailed this guy TWICE and haven't heard a peep out of him!!  So then I go to check his rating and although it's good it's not 100%, it's something like 96.7% and one buyer complained that he doesn't answer his email and that he hasn't received his purchase!

I wish as a buyer I could say something like "If I win I want the items sent within two business days of recieving the money!" like alot of the sellers do for the payments!

Maybe I'm jumping the gun a little and hopefully the items will show up shortly (maybe their at the house now)  but some facts: 2 of the 3 items I purchased at the same time came within 5 days of sales end, this item was the most important of the 3, and not getting a response from emails is just irritating!!

Ok, rant over, I feel better now!

UPDATE:
Finally heard from the seller last Friday, said he mailed the items that day. He said he was sorry for the delay but his truck broke down.  Evidently his computer is in his truck also!

I figured I would wait through this past w/e (two weeks since I paid for the items) and if nothing showed up then start the procedure for recouping my money. (I may still be doing this as I haven't received them yet but got my fingers crossed)

Again, thanks for all the help fellas!

I've been lucky over the years, but almost got burned once.  I had won an auction for a car part for my son.  My problem was that the part was NOTHING like what had been pictured.  I emailed the seller about a half dozen times, and never got a reply.

Like you, I posted to this board with a bit of a rant, and one member posted this link -

http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

This is a link to the Internet Fraud division of the federal government (FBI).  When I told the seller that if he didn't reply to my last email, I would be reporting him (I included the link), he replied within 10 minutes  cooldude  He told me to ship the part back, and he would refund my money.  I told him that once I saw the money in my PayPal account, including my shipping costs back to him, I would send his part back...

Bottom line is that if you feel like he's ignoring you, ya just might want to shake his tree a bit...

I buy on eBay a lot.  Several years ago, I got taken for $97 on an item.  From that point on, If the seller doesn't have a 100% Feedback, I go through all their feedback to find out what the problems had been before deciding if I want to take the chance.  A 96.7% Feedback doesn't sound too awfully bad, but then how many transactions have they made, that is the number in parentheses behind the sellers name.  The higher that number the better.  Your item could be waiting for you when you get home...I hope it is.  Sometimes, like this, when you start to lose patience, there it is.

If you paid with Paypal you can get your money back very easy.  I have done it several times.

I've heard this and that is why I went to paypal, hopefully I won't have to resort to that.

Thanks for the link Black Dog, again hopefully it won't go that far.

Maybe the guy has a legit excuse but how much does it take to reply to an email to keep everyone involved informed and not aggitate the situation more?
On another m/c site I purchased an item through the "swap meet" section and paid for it and wasn't receiving the item nor replies on my emails for awhile, but it turned out his wife was having a baby at that time.  Yeah, I know, where was his values!!!

PayPal may help you on an Ebay purchases, but will not help you on purchases outside Ebay.
I had a bad experience on the VRCC Classifieds and PayPal would not help me, they stated they could not police all the merchants that accept PayPal.

You can also dispute the amount with your credit card company, if PayPal does not come through for you.  Thats waht I did and got my money back.  At that point PayPal wanted my input, I told them that had their chance to address the issue and did not wish to pursue the issue with them anymore.

The goverment Internet fraud site is also an excellent suggestion.

just my 2 cents.

2 weeks is a little long.  At work this week we had to wait 2 extra days on some parts we ordered due to the snow in the Denver area.  Many trucks got held up.  Since you used pay pal you will be alright.

That stinks, personally I sell a lot on Ebay, and I guarantee shipping within 2 business days, in 6 years of selling I have never failed to meet this.
Ebay has dispute resolution, and I would file against him. Clowns that behave like this give everyone a bad name. Here is a link to Ebays resolution center.
http://pages.ebay.com/help/buy/item-not-received.html   They will contact him directly if necessary.
