Not sure if any of you are in the same boat as I am, but the only way I will cook and eat corn on the cobb is to soak it husk and all in water for an hour to four hours. Dump the water out, squeeze the water from the whore-hair at the top, then toss it on the grill over a nice fire.....turning top to bottom then side to side as it gets nice and golden brown !!!
Well.....if you are impatient or crap outta luck building a fire, you can microwave the corn in husk and it is damn close to an open fire roasting.
2 ears in the micro and set timer for 2:44, once it dings turn the corn over top to bottom and set timer for 2:44 again. Now when it dings take the corn out and wrap it in a towel for 5 minutes....it will continue to cook in it's own heat. After 5 minutes take from tthe towel and strip the husk down and enjoy.....for 1 ear cut cook time in half.
2 ears done in 10 minutes from start to finish !!!!

ENJOY.......!!!

Well, maybe with a couple more dry days the farmers can at least get the fields turned over and get this process started. Smiley

We have already had 4 servings of corn on the cobb...
Early crop from down south has hit the shelves here....
