crap, i think i just found that they DO have an 888 fitment for the 1500 valk interstate after i ordered the
 880!

anyone buy the 888 yet in the 200\60 r16 and the 150\70 r17?  they seem lower speed rated (H vs V).

anyone?  good , bad experience?

I've had the 880 but not the 888.  I seem to recall reading that the 888 didn't preform as well as the 880

I just put the Metz 888 on the front of my 99 Tourer...I have clocked about 500 miles on it now and so far think it is a good tire for my girl...I have an 880 Metz on the rear with about 2000 + mi on it...like it...I have them both at 42 lbs  in them...also have Ride-On in them...!!!

I've replaced my 880's with the 888's on 2 of my bikes and am happy with them. I was told they were a dual compound rubber and would wear longer. They feel pretty similar to the 880s but appear to be lasting longer.

A bit disapointed as the 888 ordered was replaced by an 880 as RKMatv was out of stock ,or, and that the 8 was discontinued .Alright. Have had several Marathons on the Tourer and like it.       tickedoff cooldude
