No, no sale. Got another "Dear John" text a couple days later. I put it on the Naked Gold Wing forum and Gold Wing Facts forum, if it doesn't get any bites I'll let it sit for a while and later this year start to part it out. One guy sent an email and told me it's not a real Gold Wing due to all the changes. So I asked what's not GW about it; it has a bigger/better tank, better handlebar(Valk), better master cylinders/brakes, better gauge w/an accurate speedo, better shocks, better handling all around and.....everything is either new or rebuilt. So educate me as to where it isn't a GW. His answer...."it only seats one." So I sent him a few pics of early Wings....the 1000 & 1100's. Yes, they'll carry two but not like the later models with better seating. I then asked him how often he rides with two up....I happened to know he's single.  Wink

Never got an answer.

I was hoping to use those funds to help finance the trip to InZane, plus pay someone up to $1k to simply move in with Rita for the nine days. Had a couple ladies from church interested but one backed out, felt it might be too much for her. Rita's oldest son has a break between the end of the school year(Pinellis Cty.) and when he has to start teaching for summer school, said he'd come stay with her but she needs a lady to help with certain things, some things a son just can't do. Her other son can't get away, her daughter lives in Virginia but their youngest won't be done with school in time, plus the daughter is looking at knee surgery soon. So, looks like another year down the drain w/o a break but still have my hopes up....kinda like the ant and the rubber tree plant.  Wink
