I need to pull my clutch off and am wondering if it’s possible on the side stand. I can’t put it on the jack since the adapter blocks the cover.  Is it doable or should I find someon with a lift and chock?   I have never pulled the clutch on a Valk.

The answer is no. What you can do is jack the bike up, place jack stands under the front crash bars and rear bag supports and then remove the jack and jack adapter. If you have a Standard, then maybe put the appropriate stack of wood under the rear tire.

The sidestand has to come off to get the clutch cover off.  The kickstand can be quite difficult to get those two bolts off.  Mine were real tight, had to go get a longer "cheater bar".  There are 3-4 bolts on the clutch cover that are somewhat difficult to get to.  What's wrong with the clutch?

If you have access to an engine lift, remove the seat and use lift straps on the top of the frame under the seat. You can pick up the entire motorcycle using this method to any height you need. I always tie off the handle bars to keep them facing straight forward. You may also want to use a third point to make balancing more effective.

That’s what I thought.
The clutch is making a nasty sound when engaging until the engine is hot. I am thinking the damper plate might be going.  The PO apparently installed a Barnett clutch due to the original failing.  I am not sure why it failed with under 30k on it. I would like to pull the clutch pack and see what’s up.

Remove the slave cylinder and grease the pushrod (clutch lifter rod).
