Of *most*, if not all air cooled, push rodded Vtwins.  That's right. Been riding my air cooled, push rod Yamaha 1700 Warrior around for several weeks. Nice bike, decent power, great handling. Jump back on the Valkyrie last weekend....phewwy, not even close that Valkyrie is 100 times the bike. The Yamie vtwin is what an HD power plant should be.  And to think people spend over 30k for such motoring antiquity thinking it's state if the art...   2funny

My cousin did the same thing with his new Indian Chieftain.  Paid $33000 for a bike with 40 year old engine technology and 2018 electronics.  He still has problems starting the damn thing because the security system looses connection with his fab.  Even though, he puts the fab right by the ignition.
I paid less than half for my bike and it is 10 times the bike his is.

No doubt there is absolutely no comparison, not even in the same quadrant of space, however I have soft spot for the Yamaha’s and Kawasaki’s in the V Twinkey category. Heck that is why I have a 800 and 1500 Drifter, it s a totally different ride and reason to be out riding and I love it.   cooldude Not to mention the fun I had redoing them.

Actually Drifters are not bad in price. I’m sure you have some huge coin in the can-am and 1800.  cooldude   I do really enjoy the Drifters but they do not do much more than 120miles in a day.  The 1500 is no slouch but the 800............
