I understand the Rostra is made by the same outfit that makes the Audiovox, which reportedly can use a signal from the ECM/coil lines for the VSS signal.  Likely can use the same line?  Daniel, you mentioned this before - did you use such a line with your Audiovox CC?  I can guess but I'd rather avoid a "smoke test".  I have the magnets and sensor but don't want to glue them on my newly powder coated wheels, and have to deal with that on a tire change/drive service.  Also, if you did this, got a starting point for the dip switches?  Anyone have these answers?

Thanks.

The magnets used by MC Cruise's system fit inside the hex sockets of the left front brake disc mounting screws, and are held by magnetic force, not adhesive...just to put another idea in your head, if it isn't there already.

Yeah Bob just told me about that on the magnets.  However the ones I got are way too big.  So I JBWelded them to the rotor out by the spokes - that gives about 7760 PPM, at position 10 of 16 on their pulse range.  After they set up I'll repaint the disc so they disappear.  The black on the rotor is paint, the color on the wheels is powder.

BTW Bob also says, no can do using an ECM / coil signal for the VSS input.
