My son, Mikey, Has been riding

I have two sons all grown up now. My son, Mikey, has been riding motorcycles since he was 8 years old. His first M/C was a Suzuki RM80 back in 1977. He went on to get a Suzuki RM125 then a RM250 then bigger dirt bikes as the years flew by. He got his first road bike when he was 16 I think...can't remember for sure, It was a 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000. Then he got a 1975 or 1976 Goldwing. Then he had several Crotch Rockets...cannot remember what they were tho. Then other road bikes. He now has a 19xx Harley-Davidson & is pretty well a total custom bike...Don't know the year or model. It has ape hangers, a suicide shifter, & custom paint job. Looks really kewel. He also has another H-D which is pretty cool too. He lives in California & has come up here to Colorado quite a few times & it is almost 1100 miles to here from there. He usually makes it in about 18 hours or so. I talked him into doing an IBA ride when he came up here the last time he was on the way to Sturgis. So he did. He just got his notification from the IBA that he is now a member of the IBA. Now I know we have all done 1000 mile trips in less than 24 hours & it is no big deal...right??? However, I am glad he did the IBA ride. My other son, Jeff, Has a H-D too & he was riding dirt bikes when he was 6 years old. He started off with a Suzuki RM50 & went thru a lot of dirt bikes. Then he went to Crotch Rockets for a few years. I have had a whole bunch of bikes over the last 54 years almost every kind of bike there is but I never rode a dirt bike or a Crotch Rocket...too dangerous for me. My wife rides a VTX-1300 & she really loves it. She started off on a Honda Rebel 250. She has really racked up the mileage on it. Well, ride safe everyone.
