The Long Way 'Round, the "official" Vermin Club Ride to the Valhalla Rally departs from our home at 06:00 sharp Thursday, June 21. Bikerboy will be riding over from the Peninsula on Wednesday and spending the night at our house. Maddog and Kitty will be joining us Thursday for the 06:00 departure. We slab it North to the Smokie Point rest stop, NB I5 exit 207, where we meet up with Bearjaws at 06:45.
From there we head for the North Cascades Highway stopping in Rockport at the Eatery Drive-in, 58439 State Route 20, 98283, for breakfast and our monthly club meeting. After breakfast we fuel up in Marblemount and head over the hill arriving in Winthrop around 11:30? After a butt brake in Winthrop, we'll wander North crossing at Osoyoos and head for Merritt.
There will be a new addition to the Valhalla Rally this year, my wife Linda, has decided to join us. I had to promise no triple digits or peg dragin'...we'll see...
