We were about to think the State Park trip was a bust and then we heard gunfire off in the distance.  We inquired about what was going on and learned there was a Civil War era gun shoot going on today.  We had maybe an hour's worth of light remaing when we located the site and were amazed at what we saw.

The gentlemen and women involved in the shoot were very friendly and more than welcome to answer our questions and offer information about the weapons and equipment they had.  They were quite accurate and very competitively friendly in the maches.

It turned out to be a great day.  Great weather, great riding, great food, great friends, and a great bike.  It is now time to prepare for the trip home tomorrow and start planning for the next adventure with the people of this fine organization.

Dave, hope you don't mind it if I tack on the photos I took of an excellent day riding with a great bunch of folks...

Jenny and I had to head to de house and missed the Civil War shoot but I took some photos as the others headed to the sound of gunfire.

The gal in the background just dopeslapped her boyfriend for buying a crotch rocket and not a Valk... Then gal up front couldn't agree more...  Wink
