I bought the Radiantz LED panel to replace the tail light bulb (standard / tourer). When I removed it from the package, I got a bit worried that I received the wrong one, since the directions only showed a VTX, and a different looking lamp assembly.

I checked online, and verified that it was right. I checked here, and the last thread about it said to cut the reflector or remove it completely. Well, I've got a much easier, less invasive tip for anyone who plans to install this. If you bend the upper tab of the reflector piece down, the panel fits fine, you don't have to cut anything, and the double sided tape on the Radiantz board has something to stick to top and bottom. If, for whatever reason, you decide to remove it, you can bend the tab back up, and nobody would ever know it had been modified.

I was going to update the old thread, but the site warned me that it was old, and I should consider starting a new thread.

For anyone considering this mod, it's worth it. It's probably as bright in running light mode as the original brake light is, and is very bright when you hit the brakes.

Yes sir. It has a wiring lead that ends in a plug that fits directly in the stock 1157-type socket.

Take off the lens. Remove bulb. Bend upper tab on inner reflector down. Plug in new light in OE socket. Adhere to housing with pre-installed double-sided tape. Re-install lens. Test unit and be shocked at how much better it is.
