.
Oil changed a few days prior but always guilty of tipping the 5 quarts jug a little over the 3.9 quarts, maybe 4.1 . Could not get clutch action afterwards and reason why it was not started for a few days. have not ridden it since but it now starts right up and sounds great without grey smoke. I ve decided to keep her and recondition it.

Probably will be fine. Knew of one that had a tire go down and tip over in a garage, it lay on it's side for 2-3 days until the guys came home from some trip. I helped him pick it up and we mopped up the gas on the floor from a leaking gas cap, and pulled the plugs on the low side to give it a quick spin to check for hydrolock (none found) then replaced plugs and fired it up. Started easily with a little roughness, oil smoke POURED out of the low side exhaust but we decided to take it for a ride with me following to observe. He figured he might as well know if he had worse than a dented tank and bent bars i.e. "should he call the insurance co?". Blue/black smoke stopped within maybe a half mile, but there was plenty of oil in the end of the pipe (truck stacks). Bike ran just fine for at least 3 years afterwards.
