Good morning,

I have an IS with only speedo and clock on display.   I've read several posts regarding a connector that is above swinger and below battery box in location.   For those with experience in this connector,   is it easier to pull out battery and box to get to it or put it up on cycle lift and try to get at it from underneath? Thanks, brad

If you're thinking about the multiPin connector (22 ?), that's located behind the Right Side cover.  If you're talking about the other connectors, just pull the seat and the radio sits on top of the battery cover.  All of the radio plugs are right there.

Hope that helps.

If you mean you can't get the radio to turn on and show in the display( only fuel gauge and clock) on yes there is a orange connector under the batt box that is just above the swingarm. It has become corroded. Pull box and remove the connector cross over cap and clean all connections. To test after hook a batt charger to the batt cables turn to 40 amps and test for the radio. Better then putting every thing back together and finding out not working. Have had to do this to mine.
