This spring I had to change out all of the vacuum hoses on the IS. with the cooler temps in the garage I was getting white smoke aka steam from the shifter side of the exhaust. Since it has warmed up no more steam. just put the infrared thermometer on the the end of the exhaust pipes and shifter side is 95 degrees and the brake side 80 degrees. also have popping and cracking. Any thoughts on what could be going on?

Are all cylinders on that side running low?  Check each cylinder individually and see if just one is low could have one with bad spark plug.
