Good redneck engineering!   cooldude  I'd probably upgrade to some of those fancy newfangled steel hose clamps, if you can find some that'll fit through the holes.

After I took the photos I added a couple more zip ties at the rear just to be on the safe side.  Cheesy

I used this method with my trunk on my ST1300 for thousands of miles.

I had thought of buying a Wompus rack but just can't justify the $275 when I can make this homemade.

Did you notice the black gloss spray job on the plywood.  cooldude  3 coats for that deep custom paint look.  Cheesy

Just lost the darn cap.

It does make a good seal so long as the spout is dry when applied.
