Has there been any decision on the breakfast run for Sunday the 15th? Ladybug and I were hoping to catch up with those riding that morning.

Good point, T-Roy.  We need a plan.  Anyone have an idea?

The International Motorcycle Show is this weekend.  We could walk off a big breakfast by rubber-necking all the new stuff that still isn't as cool as our Valkyries!

I'm in.  Who's with us?  The show is open 10:00am - 5:00pm on Sunday.

Re breakfast options near downtown, does anyone have a "must-eat" recommendation?  Dive w/chicken fried steak & eggs?  Pie?

Here are few to chew on...   2funny

Original Pancake House, Uptown, Lemmon Ave west of I-75 - It doesn't get better than this, but it's no secret.  We can jawbone while waiting.  Good coffee w/half n half.  Opens at 7:00am.  Beat the crowd?

Original Market Diner, Harry Hines & Market - I've never been, but I've heard it's great.  Don't know about seating a large party.  Opens at 7:00am

Bread Winners Cafe, McKinney Ave - Kinda bohemian with really good food.  Parking can be an issue if the lot across the street is full, but shouldn't be a problem on a Sunday morning.  Might be tight for a group?  Opens at 9:00am.

Hully and Mo, Quadrangle - (Bret Hull and Mike Modano are the owners)  I've never been there for brunch, but the dinner was great.  Biggest problem for Sunday is they don't open until 11:00.   Sad   I know the chef, Ozzie, from his days at Bob's.  The menu looks good, and the prices are reasonable (most expensive is ribeye & eggs for 10 bux).  It a big place, so a group should present no problem.  They also have mimosas and bloody marys for pillions or the caged.

Thoughts?

Where'd old times go?

Breakfast ALWAYS sounds good and the 'walk-off' at the bike show is a great suggestion.
BUT!  Where's the ridin part of this event?  Downtown Dallas?
Maybe meet up to the East (toward T-Roy's side of town) and make a loop south out of Rockwall then back up toward Dallas?
 Any input?

I heard mention Al Lamb Honda is offering up a Coffee start at 9:00 am Sunday.  Then they plan to caravan to the bike show.  It was suggested at our meeting Thursday nite that we could meet there, show our appreciation of Al Lambs contributions and support of our Club and then go to breakfast and/or head for the bike show.

        HOWEVER --
The weather does not look like it is going to cooperate @#$%&!
        Sunday forecast sucks.

   Thoughts?

P.S.     Somebody, Thursday nite, mentioned a GREAT place for breakfast in Dallas but I didn't catch the name.  Would someone like to post their suggestion?

Yes, Sunday's forecast does not look ideal.  But that doesn't have to rule out breakfast.

Tom, I believe the suggestion was for the Dixie House near 183 & 121.  Great for the westsiders, but not so much from the north, south, or east.  If a group forms, I can easily be pointed toward another option, but if I were going alone, I would go to the Original Pancake House at 2900 Lemmon Ave. West, Suite 200, Dallas, Texas 75204 between 9:00 & 9:30.  214-528-7215

I just checked the Accu-Weather hourly forecast and the only hour with rain in it is 1:00 - 2:00.  So, I'm going riding to the OPH on Lemmon and then to the show.  Anyone else?  Crickets?
