Dunlop D404F 16,000 miles

I got 16,000 miles out of my 150/80-17 Dunlop D404 Front tire. Mostly flat, straight roads in central and northern Indiana. A lot of interstate miles.

Replaced it with the 404 rear tire: 130/90-17 (68H) Dunlop D404R.

16K is a lot of miles.

I have run the D404F for last 3 front tire changes.  I can only get 12-13K out of them.  But then we have chip-coat roads around here that eat up tires. 

Had to tell which way the tread goes from the pic.   did you mount it reversed?

I did not mount the 150/80-17 Dunlop D404 Front tire reversed. I did mount the 130/90-17 (68H) Dunlop D404 rear tire reversed (on the front rim).

running same tire on front.   4k miles, tread wore 1/32", new 9/32".  Should translate to 30k to wear bars similar to what others have reported. Last front in same size was a Conti-go V-rated which was good for 27k, they don't sell the H-rated tire in the states last I checked.
