I think this board could use a PAGE for our FAVORITES. We could all post some of our favorite places near our homes. We could all recomend the three best places to eat in your areas. Some of the best roads, and maybe the best dealership to deal with, and maybe events in your area. We could break it down by States or part of states.

I'm in Kankakee IL  50 miles south of Chicago and about 20 miles west of the Indiana state line

I will start it off with some of my favorites in my area.

PLACES TO EAT
In Kankakee it's Paul's Place 500 south Washington ave. Good food at a great prices Breakfast, lunch and Dinner

Short ride (20 to 25 miles)  Polk-A-Dot In Braidwood IL. It's a 60's style car hop drive-in.  Try the Chili-cheese fries or the fresh fried chicken   http://polk-a-dot.com/

Longer ride (75-100 miles) The Wooden Nickel in North Judson Indiana. Great bar food and a very nice motorcycle museum just down the road.

BEST ROAD  would have to be Rt. 113 between Kankakee and Braidwood. Not really a great road but for Central Illinois it's good.

DEALERSHIP not many dealerships in the area but Watseka honda has been very good to me.

I think you just started it. You might reword the post title to agree.

I think the STAFF is reluctant to break up the BBS into sub BBS's. I agree, there seems to be no end to another BBS I monitor with it's 100's of sub boards.. Put it all here.

So what are your three's?

Southeast Alabama.

My three favorite places to eat:
1) Three Pigs Bar-B-Q on the square in Headland, AL just off US 431. Turn west off 431 on St Hwy 134, go to the square, on right. Best item on the menu, ribeye steak. Lots of memorabillia from lots of farm homes adorn the walls. No way to take it all in in one trip.
2) Marilyn's. On hwy 52 between Dothan and Columbia, AL. (about 2 miles west of Columbia) All you can eat shrimp, fried or boiled or both plus the fixins for $10.95. Or fried catfish or fillets, or chicken. Great sides; cheese grits, cole slaw, etc. Be prepared to be rolled out. My record for shrimp is 65, (about 2&1/2 pounds worth).
3) Hunt's. Just south of the intersection of US 231 and the Circle on the south side of Dothan. Oyster bar and restuarant. Oyster bar only during the days. Both open in the evenings. Cold, fresh Appalacheecola oysters, great seafood, (better than at PC Beach), great steaks, and with over 300 restuarants in the area you will still have a wait on Friday and Saturday evenings. There are numerous franchise steak houses around but the locals go to Hunt's.

Favorite roads: so many great rides in our area with little to no traffic. Best would be North of Dothan. Just head out of the city and take any road that has blacktop. Stay off 231 and 431. Or better yet, call ahead of time and I'll give you a tour.

Freedom will ultimately cost more than we care to pay but will be worth every drop of blood to those who follow and cherrish it.
